Wedding programs are becoming more and more popular and are a very special touch to any wedding ceremony. A wedding program lets guests know the sequence of your wedding ceremony and will let them know what to expect and when. Most of the wedding programs we create consist of 2-4 pages. Pages include: Bridal Party, Ceremony and Thank you/Memoriam Page. The program content can be as simple or as detailed as you wish. Below please find a listing of ideas and suggestions to help you along with your program wording. It is very important to meet with the person who will be marrying you, they will offer more detailed ideas and help you create the wording that is unique to your ceremony. The front cover of a wedding program can be as simple as having just the date or logo in the front but most couple's choose to include their names, date and location.

The ceremony portion of a  wedding program is broken down into 3 major parts:

Welcome and Introduction,  Exchange of Vows and Rings and Final Blessing

Here is a list of other items couples tend to include in their wedding programs. Each program is unique and can be created as detailed or as simple as you wish (these are ideas):

Bridal Party - Many couples choose to include their bridal party - This can simply have each persons name, each persons name including their relationship to the couple or even a bio as to why this person plays a significant part in your lives.

Thank You's - Couple's now like to include a special thank you message to their guests inside of their wedding programs. Some couples write one general thank you to everyone or sometimes they do two messages - one thank you message for family and another for friends.

Memorials - Another idea is couple's like to dedicate parts of the ceremony or flowers to a loved one that has passed on. They will include this in their wedding program.

New Home  - Instead of sending cards with your new address on them, some couples put their new address inside of their wedding program. This way guests will have it on the program and update their address books when they get home.

Traditions - With the many wedding traditions there are,  many couple's opt to write a history behind each part of the ceremony to let guests know who are not of that faith the significance of each part of the ceremony.

Ceremony programs can be handed out to guests by the ushers, placed on each seat at the ceremony, or they can be placed at the back of the church or ceremony site in a basket for guests to take as they enter.
